Street Sweeping – 2025

South Swindon Parish Council is undertaking residential road sweeping starting Monday 21 July for approximately 3 weeks. This work will help clean up the weeds and detritus that has built up over the past few years. With Swindon Borough Council’s capacity severely restricted in recent years, we’re stepping in to keep our streets clean.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

• We’ll sweep all streets where possible, but some areas may be missed on the first pass due to parked cars or other issues. Please move vehicles off the street where possible on your area’s scheduled day – your cooperation is vital to making this operation a success.
• Days 13-15 are reserved for returning to any missed areas.
• Parish staff will follow contractors to finish areas by hand.
